Custom Surfboard Orders and Pricing

I work mostly using Marko Foam expanded polystyrene (EPS) core with hand laminated epoxy shell using Greenroom Board Co epoxy resins.  Marko foam is a closed cell formulation that is superior to any of the other commonly available EPS blanks we have tried. Epoxy resin has little to no VOC’s which is healthier for the laminator, is better for the environment, and has higher strength than traditional PE resin. Greenroom Board Co. Old No. 9 and Blanco resins have performed better than any of the other resins we have tried. Although the materials are slightly more expensive and labor intensive, I believe this construction makes a lighter, stronger, more durable, and more environmentally friendly surfboard than traditional polyurethane (PU) foam core polyester (PE) resin materials, while maintaining positive and lively flex and recoil properties. As surfers we have a responsibility to the environment and these components have a lower overall carbon footprint.

I have a few standard models to choose from, but most boards are custom designed.  Most of my work is shortboard to mid length and I rarely work over 7'6", so please contact me for details and availability on larger boards.  Shaping is not my full time job, so build times can vary.
